Halo Wars: Definitive Edition Gets a Standalone Release

Moving out April 20.

Microsoft is releasing Halo Wars: Definitive Edition[2] as a standalone game April 20 on PC and Xbox One. Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will head to Steam this week as well, Microsoft noted[3]. It’s also an Xbox Play Anywhere game for people who pick it up on the Xbox Store or Windows Store.

Previously only available for people who purchased Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition[4], the RTS game remaster features better visuals, extra achievements and all of the DLC.
