Kevin Spacey Cut from All the Money in the World

Still planned for a December 22 release.

Despite the movie already being finished, Kevin Spacey has been cut from All the Money in the World[2]. According to Deadline[3], director Ridley Scott, as well as Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas from Imperative Entertainment, have decided to remove the actor from the film. Replacing Spacey in the role of J.

Paul Getty will be Christopher Plummer.

Spacey as J. Paul Getty in All the Money in the World Scott reportedly doesn’t want to delay the film beyond its December 22 release date, so reshoots of key scenes are set to begin right away.

Sony Pictures, as well as the film’s cast and crew–including Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams–are said to have all been agreement with the decision reshoot Spacey’s scenes. Allegations of sexual misconduct against Spacey have already resulted in the actor being dropped by Netflix from House of Cards[4]. The streaming service has also decided to cancel Gore, a Kevin Spacey-led biopic about Gore Vidal.
