Dark Souls Remastered on Switch Delayed

Delayed to this summer.

Dark Souls Remastered has been delayed on Switch, Bandai Namco has announced. The Switch version of the remaster has been pushed back to this summer. Additionally, the Solaire of Astora amiibo has been postponed with the same timeframe as well.

Bandai Namco did not provide a reason for the delay, but wrote on Twitter that fans should “rest assured, the extra time will improve your journey to Lordran.” Dark Souls Remastered is still coming out on May 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will feature an improved framerate and resolution and will include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC.

On PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, the title will offer upscaled 4K resolution and 60 FPS framerate. Meanwhile, on Switch in TV mode, the remastered will run in a 1080p resolution with 30 FPS.
