Football Manager Touch 2018 is now available for Nintendo Switch. Sega announced and released the game on the Nintendo eShop today and it’s priced at £40 USD. FM Touch, which is the tablet version of the popular management simulation, has been fully optimized for Nintendo’s console.
It features a customized control system with support for both the touchscreen and Joy-Con controllers. Additionally, FM touch offers a fully-fledged single-player experience alongside the 3D Match Engine, which makes its debut on consoles. The Switch port is co-developed by Sports Interactive and Hardlight, the studio behind Sonic Dash and Sonic Jump.
“This is a milestone release for Football Manager,” Miles Jacobson said, Sports Interactive’s studio director. “This is our first console release in a number of years but it is also our most innovative release of Football Manager Touch to date thanks to the various control methods we’ve included that gives everyone a way of playing Football Manager that suits them.” If you’re not familiar with the Football Manager series, it puts you in the role of a football/soccer manager allowing you to provide play instructions, scout for new players, provide team talks, make substitutions, create your own club, and more.
