Best Black Friday 2016 laptop deals UK: Price cuts on Apple, Dell and Lenovo laptops coming soon

It’ll soon be among us, and Black Friday 2016 looks set to be the biggest yet. You best prepare your wallets, as there’ll be plenty of awesome laptop deals heading your way very soon.

We’ve taken a look back on Black Friday deals gone by, to help give you an indication on the savings you can expect, as well as discuss some potential surprises we might hopefully see during the course of the weekend and Cyber Monday too. Here are the best laptop deals you can expect on Black Friday 2016.

Find out 2016’s best laptops[1]

Black Friday 2016: Apple

Last year, we saw decent price drops for a bunch of Apple products, from iPhones to iPads the spotlight was heavily on the tech giant. In 2015 we saw a £50 reduction in price on the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and regular MacBook along with savings on iMacs and Mac Pros too.
[2][3][4]

Apple Macbook 2016

You can expect pretty much exactly the same this year, perhaps with an even bigger price drop. Considering we should – if rumours are to be believed, be getting a fancy new MacBook Pro fairly soon, so you’d think retailers would want to get rid of old stock as sharpish as possible. Keep an eye out, it could be an awesome Apple Black Friday this year.

Black Friday 2016: Dell

You’ll usually have to stick around for Cyber Monday, which follows Black Friday, for the best tech deals, though. Last year we saw the Dell Inspiron i7559 gaming laptop drop to just below £1,000 on Amazon and the slightly more affordable Latitude E5450 stoop to £590 on Ebuyer.

Considering we’ve recently seen a bunch of new Dell Alienware gaming laptops hit the market too, we should see them get at least a little bit cheaper over the weekend. So far, it doesn’t look like anything in the Dell XPS range[5] has seen a reduction in price over recent years, but hopefully Black Friday 2016 will change that.

Black Friday 2016: Lenovo

Lenovo has released some new refreshes to its Yoga 500[7] line recently, and we can expect to see some nifty price drops here. Last year’s Yoga 500 went on sale for just £350 on Black Friday, so fingers crossed we’ll see the same reduction treatment this time around too.

There’s also the futuristic Lenovo Yoga Book to consider too, a fancy 2-in-1 hybrid with an e-ink keyboard and proper paper notepad integration. It’s a futurologist’s dream, and it’ll be great if we get at least a slight price reduction over the course of the weekend.

Black Friday 2016: Chromebooks

Let’s not forget about Chromebooks though, the super cheap alternative to Windows-based laptop devices. A price reduction on something that’s already pretty low-cost to begin with will be very welcome.

Considering that Black Friday last year saw a lot of Chromebooks from Acer, Toshiba and the like drop below £200, you should have plenty of money leftover to splurge on other things on offer on Black Friday.

Here’s the definitive list of the best Chromebooks in 2016[8]

Best Amazon deals: Amazing deals you REALLY should take a look at

You’re in the right place for today’s comprehensive list of the best Amazon deals and offers that can’t be missed!

We’ve delved through the Amazon marketplace in an effort to give you the best tech offers of today, from a massive range of products. Check back daily for even more deals.

There are massive price drops in both games consoles and games pre-orders today, so let’s get down to business.

Sony PS4 Slim

Deal price: £224

Considering the fancy skinny PS4 Slim has barely been out for a week and already seen a price reduction is music to my ears. It’s a fantastic new console, with its much smaller footprint and reduced power consumption too. Pick this up with a couple of games on this list and you’ll be good to go. It looks like this is as price match with Tesco, so you might want to pick this up for this price while you still can. Read our full PS4 Slim review for more details[1].

Nintendo 3DS Xl – Pokemon Sun and Moon Edition

Deal price: £154

I love the design on this special Pokemon Sun and Moon Edition Nintendo 3DS Xl and it’s not that much more than the bog-standard handheld either. Sure, it doesn’t come with the game (you’ll have to buy it separately) but if you’re a Pokemon fan that hasn’t made the leap to the 3DS XL yet, this is the most stylish way to go about it. Check out our Nintendo 3DS XL review for more info[2].

Motorola Moto G3

Deal price: £120

While the Moto G3 has since been superseded by its younger brother, the aptly titled Moto G4, it’s still a wonderfully priced smartphone. Considering it’s now much cheaper than the already low price it was originally going for, this’ll be a great choice. Read Our Moto G3 review for more details[3].

Titanfall 2 pre-order

Deal price: £37

The Sci-Fi mech-based FPS is out soon, and it’s currently fetching quite a cheap price. It’s not out until the end of October, but I’ll put money on the price going up to its usual levels soon, so you might want to get on this while you still can. We’ve already had the opportunity to play Titanfall 2, read what we thought[4].

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League pre-order

Deal price: £38

You’ll need a PlayStation VR headset[5] to play it, but RIGS is an awesome E-Sports inspired virtual reality game involving mech combat (there’s a bit of a theme going on here). It’s frantic, chaotic and a lot of fun and as someone who’s already had some hands-on time with it, I couldn’t recommend it more.

Powercore 5000 Portable Charger

Deal price: £11

In this ever expanding Pokemon Go world we’re living in, we’re always trying to squeeze out that extra bit of juice out of our smartphones. Pair that with the fact you might be buying an iPhone 7 very soon, and you’ll likely to want to extend the 13-hour battery life if you’re away from the plug socket for a significant amount of time. This cheap 5,000mAh portable battery will help solve your battery draining problems.

Libratone Zipp Mini wireless speaker

Deal price: £149

For a wireless 360-degree speaker, the Libratone Zipp Mini is great, and now that it’s cheaper than ever, there’s no better time to pick one up. It’s much more portable than it’s bigger brother, the standard Zipp[6], it’s a wonderful alternative and great to take around with you on the go. It’s a wonderfully versatile multiroom speaker and with Soundspace Link it’s made even better. Read our Libratone Zipp Mini review[7] for more details.

Motorola Moto G4 Play

This budget smartphone only launched last month, and we’re already seeing a generous price reduction. The budget version of the Moto G4, the G4 Play has a reasonably speedy quad-core Snapdragon 450 processor inside given the price, and it’s also got a Full HD display and 13-megapixel camera too.
