How to watch the Athletics World Cup

The first ever Athletics World Cup will see eight countries compete for 102 individual medals over two days in London. It promises to be a showcase of some of the world’s best athletes go head to head in the London Stadium. China, France, Germany, Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Jamaica, Poland, South Africa and the United States will descend on London for a jam packed schedule of events over one weekend.

Here’s all you need to know.

When is the Athletics World Cup?

The Athletics World Cup takes place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July 2018. Both days are evening events, starting at 6:45pm UK time and ending at 10pm.

Where does the Athletics World Cup take place?

The two day event is held at the London Stadium in Stratford, London.

What events will there be?

With 102 medals up for grabs in 34 events, each day will see 17 events take place.

With men’s and women’s events with a representative from every nation, a World Cup winner will be crowned on Sunday evening.

How to watch the Athletics World Cup

The Athletics World Cup is being aired in the UK exclusively on Sky Sports. On Saturday from 7pm the event will be covered on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports Action, and on Sunday it’s on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Mix.
