Good Omens

  • Where: Amazon Prime Video
  • When: Available to stream from 31 May

Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman (American Gods) and Terry Pratchett (The Discworld books), Amazon Original Good Omens stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen as an Earth-bound demon and angel combo aiming to prevent the end of the world.

Funny and spectacular in equal measure, the script was written by Gaiman himself after he received a letter from Pratchett, posted before the latter late author’s passing in 2015.

UEFA Champions League final

  • Where: BT Sport (YouTube)
  • When: Live on 1 June

So the 2018/19 football season ends with a bang. Liverpool return to the Champions League final for a consecutive year, while Spurs reaches its very first. And, with both dispatching their semi-final opponents in the most dramatic of fashions, we cannot wait to see what is bound to be the best final in many years.

It will be screened live, for free, on YouTube if you don’t have a BT Sport subscription. Our prediction? An English team will win.

Love Island

  • Where: ITV2 (ITV Hub)
  • When: Starts 3 June

Yep, everybody’s favourite guilty pleasure is back, with an all-new collection of single chaps and chapesses taking residence in the Love Island house.

A couple of celebrity relatives are also contestants this year, in the form of Tommy Fury, brother of British ex-heavyweight champion Tyson, and Curtis Pritchard, brother of Strictly Come Dancing star AJ. Let’s see if they can do as well as last year’s co-winner Dani Dyer.

Years And Years

  • Where: BBC (BBC iPlayer)
  • When: Latest episode on 4 June

Years And Years could be described as The BBC’s version of Black Mirror. However, as it was written by ex-Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies, its look at an alternative, tech-filled future is less bleak.

The latest episode is on this week, but if you haven’t managed to catch any of the series yet, you can do so through BBC iPlayer – all of the previous chapters are available on demand.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

  • Where: Rakuten TV
  • When: Available to buy from 3 June

Everything is awesome! Or, at least it was until Lego Duplo aliens started invading Bricksburg.

The first Lego Movie was superb, appealing to children and adults in equal measure with its cleverly written, fast-paced script and spot-on comedic timing. That’s why we haven’t put it in our “one for the kids” section this week, you really don’t need young’uns around to justify buying it for yourself.

ICC Cricket World Cup Highlights

  • Where: Channel 4 (All 4)
  • When: Highlights of all matches available each day

The Cricket World Cup is now underway and you can catch-up with every match played at the end of each day.

England are the clear favourites to win the tournament but can they withstand the pressure of going all the way in their home country?

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

The third outing for Hiccup and his fellow dragon riders sees him and his Night Fury friend travel to a previously unknown dragon utopia.
