PlayStation Plus Games for August 2021 Announced – IGN
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Plus games for August 2021 include Hunter’s Arena: Legends, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, and Tennis World Tour 2.
As detailed on PlayStation.Blog, all three of these games will be available from Tuesday, August 3 until Monday, September 6. Additionally, these are all PS4-only games except for Hunter’s Arena: Legends which also includes its PS5 version.
Hunter’s Arena: legends is a 30-player PvP and PvE combat-based battle royale that is “set in an ancient age in which humanity battles each other as well as a growing legion of demons that have been unleashed upon the world.”
Hunter’s Arena was featured in the most recent State of Play and developer Mantisco described the game as one that combines “RPG, MOBA, and many other [genres].”
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a team-shooter that features over 20 fully-customizable character classes and both couch and online co-op to allow you and your friends to… well… battle for Neighborville.
In our Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville review, we said that its “messy maps and repetitive solo campaigns are rescued by an exciting and cute roster and varied multiplayer modes.”
Tennis World 2 allows fans to play as both the world’s top players or a created pro that are all trying to dominate the world’s rankings. The game features not only standard and Ranked online modes, but it also has a career mode that will have you managing your season, staff, equipment, sponsors, and more.
While you wait for these new games, don’t forget to download July 2021’s PlayStation Plus games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (which is available for its second month) by August 2.
